Casual Chic! Sonali Bendre.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Sonali Bendre's pics at the Vir Das's comedy night.

Dressed in a casually tucked in white top, draw string pants and cross body bag, Sonali was on trend and looked fun ready. I liked the addition of the multi strap flats and the Bottega braided bag.

Bag Envy - Reese Witherspoon.

A very visibly happy Reese stepped out in casuals earlier this week\ in a casual ensemble, but what caught my attention right away was her arm candy.

The Celine luggage has been my obsession ever since its launch, and methinks it upgrades Reese's look right up for me.

P S: Did I tell you mine is just a month away before I get my hands on it?!! Glee!!

In Lanvin - Sushmita Sen.

Sushmita attended the 'I am She' Finale dressed in a teal dress from Lanvin.

She paired the dress with black peep toe heels and her trademark layered hair. Sushmita has had a few styles fail moments of late, but this one is a good start to the way to redemption, if there is one.

Dressed up, Dressed down - Anushka Sharma.

Anushka gave us two looks over the weekend, a dressed up one for the Nivea event and dressed down one at a movie screening.

Anushka attended the Nivea event dressed in a blue tiered dress, which she paired with black web booties. The footwear choice was what made this look an average one; statement booties or studded heels would have totally changed the game for me. At the screening, she opted for skinny jeans with a cami and blazer.

Anushka is wearing Zara, a green version of the dress seen earlier on Mallika Sherawat (posted here).

Red hot or Not? Nicole KIdman & Karen Elson.

Both Nicole Kidman and Karen Elson attended their events dressed in Red. Although they were two different silhouette and looks, we couldn't help but compare the reds.

Nicole wore Elie Saab fitted dress with strappy Jimmy Choos and a black clutch. I have always loved Nicole in red (remember the Red Balenciaga at Oscars?), but I was not the greatest fan of the styling of this dress. The dress needed stronger accessories and styling.

Karen wore a Gucci Fall 2011 dress first seen on Eva Mendes and I think she wore it well.

Gowning Glory? Dia Mirza.

It was a grey floor length gown for Dia at ‘ I am She’ Finale.

Aside from how amazing the silhouette looked on the beautiful actress, this look was nothing to write home about. Dia, please give us a FAB, about time too.

Eva Longoria attended the USA Imagine Cup event dressed in an under $ 100 ASOS egg shape dress. Quite a change from sporting BFF's label, but methinks Eva looked great just the same.

Red Hot and Smoking! Amber Heard.

A stunning Amber Heard attended the 2011 ESPY Awards, and what a jaw dropping gorgeous look it was.

I loved everything about this look, from the sequinned black Vivienne Westwood dress with its dramatic silhouette and drape and the striking neckline ( I have mentioned in my earlier posts that, Vivienne Westwood dresses have the most universally flattering necklines on women of all body types) to the pumped up hair and black heels.

Dressed down and FAB! Malaika Arora.

Last week, I posted how Malaika has a stunner style even when she is off diva duty.

Attending 'ZNMDB' movie special screening, Malaika combined trendy with comfort and came out with flying chic colors. The green denims with White cuffed shirt (Zara?) and nude heels were on trend, but the addition of that Tangerine arm candy and braided hair just elevated the look a few notches for me.

Yin & Yang - Clemence Posey.

Fashion's in house Alice in Wonderland - Clemence Posey took to Red Carpet of ' Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Part -2' premiere this week.

While one look showcased Clemence's gamine charm plenty, the other was a let down, styling wise. The appearance in White Nina Ricci frothy dress with a black belt clinching the waist and black platform heels were bang on style.

Her second appearance in Chanel couture left a lot to be desired - I'm dying to pull that hair back in a sleek ponytail, and add some punchy make up to see if the jumbled appearance can be revived..

Sari Style - Aishwarya Rai.

Expectant mom Aishwarya Rai stepped out in Delhi last evening to receive the French Honor in her name.

Aishwarya looked fabulous in the Yellow silk sari, which she paired with a solitaire neckpiece.

Usually one to turn out well in her sari sightings, the blouse seemed ill fitting on Aiswarya, but seems like she changed her outfit last minute before setting out for the event. (The event was cancelled on her request in light of the blasts in Mumbai.)

Blah. Meh - Sarah Jane Dias.

For someone who started off all right on the fashion front at the time of her bollywood debut, Sarah Jane Dias has sure taken a fall from her fashion heights.

The one shoulder Shivan and Narresh gown got the raw end of the deal, with its neckline (a peek a boo bustier detail one the other side) completely hidden by Sara's hair and addition of a neckpiece.

Please Sarah, go find your mojo again.

Kate Winslet - In Ralph Lauren.

The gorgeous Kate Winslet attended Lancome promotional event in Beijing in a stunning Ralph Lauren gown.

The black gown was right up Kate's style alley, with its sleek silhouette and asymmetrical neckline providing a standout visual effect.

Kate wore the gown in similarly styled as the runway, with red lips, pulled back up do and fuss free. A case clutch from Sergio Rossi completed her look.

Trend Report - Peter Pan Collar!

There have been numerous sightings of outfits with peter pan collar over the last few weeks amongst fashion's leading pack across the globe.

The British fashionista Alexa Chung, upcoming Australian actress Emily Browning, Emma Watson and Brooklyn Decker this week to Sonam Kapoor and Freida Pinto have shown their own take on the trend.

Instant Like! Neha Dhupia.

If I were to make a list of flag bearers of fashion in Bollywood, Neha is going to be on my Top 5.

I love that she constantly mixes up her styles and seem equally at ease off and on red carpet with her looks. At the launch of her forthcoming movie ' Gandhi to Hitler',  Neha worked the fitted button down white blouse with cap sleeves and jodhpur pants, which she paired with pulled back ponytail and strong make up.

Addition of nude pumps completed her look.

Nearly There! Karolina Kurkova.

Supermodel Karolina Kurkova attended the Ischia Global Film and Music Festival dressed in a hot pink satin gown from Sophie Theallet Resort collection.

I loved how this gown fell on her, the sleeves and blue sash tied around the waist. My love however, headed down south once I caught a glimpse of her footwear choice, nude platform heels seemed way too heavy and casual with such a bombshell dress.

A pair of strappy sandals and this would have been a picture of jaw dropping hotness for me.

FAB! Minissha Lamba.

It was a fun look for Minissha Lmba at the Formula One Party.

The striped Puja Arya dress with printed hem and enlarged bow looked great on Minissha and the red peep toe sling backs added the pop the dress needed. Well Played Ms. Lamba!

Sonam Kapoor at 'India's Most Desirable'

Sonam shot for 'India's Most Desirable’ with Simi  for Star World.

Glad to see Sonam changed up from the usual drape/A line silhouette and opted for a refreshing look. The blush tone gown with black web embellishments made an interesting change, so did the side parted curls and red lips.

In Balmain - Emma Watson.

Emma Watson seems to have brought her A game to the US on her visit to promote 'Harry Potter'.

Attending ' Late Night Show' yesterday, Emma yet again wore a style that is a surprise on her, in a one shouldered, embellished mini from Balmain.

She paired the dress with Christian Louboutin wedges and drop earrings.

Red hot or Not? Kareena Kapoor.

Attending the SONY event in Mumbai was bran ambassador Kareena Kapoor, who went a little matchy matchy with the product she seemed to have endorsing - dressed in a Red dress.

The interesting details of the dress - read draped details on one side and shoulder - were covered and left to imagination thanks to Ms.Kapoor's obsession with, you guessed it, the straight hair parted and worn over the shoulders.

Kareena paired the dress with blue strappy platform heels (YSL?)

Instant Like! Sarah Jessica Parker.

At the 'Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Part -2' NY premiere, I was instantly reminded as to why SJP was fashion's favourite IT girl for the longest of time.

She took to the Red Carpet in an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2012 printed gown and paired it with a genius navy tuxedo Jacket. For me, I much preferred Sarah's take on the gown to the model's on the runway, the blazer balanced the volume and length of the gown on Sarah and I loved how put together she looked.

PS: Sarah is carrying a Salvatore Ferragamo ‘Egla’ crossbody bag.

Sonam Kapoor at 'Mausam' Trailer Launch.

It was a White draped Emanuel Ungaro gown for Sonam Kapoor at the launch of the trailer of her upcoming movie ' Mausam'.

Although we don't not have a full length picture to see the whole look, I like it from what I see.

The one shoulder gown with slight drape details and pleat knot on the side is a silhouette that Sonam wore well, and the up do with a slight tousled look and ornamental band upgrades the styling.

I'm looking forward to the promotions of this movie to see the style choices Sonam is going to make.

Emma Watson at the New York Premiere of ' Harry Potter And Deathly Hallows Part 2'

After the sartorial success during the promotions and première of her latest Harry Potter movie, Emma moved transatlantic to wow America.

At the New York Premiere of the movie, she opted for an unexpected choice of gown from the Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2011 Collection. The gorgeous gown had a fitted corset bust and dramatically draped at the waist - skirt details. The gown had plenty of drama, to which Emma added some more of hers, with slick back hair and dramatic eye make up in black and gold.

It worked for me. For you?

Beautifully Blue! Nicole Kidman.

At the BAFTA Brits to Watch, Nicole Kidman walked the Red carpet in Elie Saab Couture, and looked fabulous.

Nicole wore a blue embellished gown with a fitted waist, thigh high slit (not seen on the pics) and drape details on the back. She left her hair loose, choosing not top highlight the draped back so much and carried a blue satin clutch.

I like this appearance, although I wish she had worn her hair differently and opted for a smaller clutch of another kind.

OH NO! SHE DIDN'T! Sushmita Sen.

Ms. Sen needs a stylist intervention. Pronto.

How else would you explain this madness? Coming from an Ex Miss Universe and a former model!
